playing around back yard with bird wing on a pole and string about now would be good they progress to letting him explore some field away from home is best way to start one, dont just open gate and go out next door that promotes getting out on his own and wandering off JUST AN OPINION make it short trip and stop when hes slowed down or gets bored, rats and sparrows help and get out grownspringers arent super dogs but some can be good in field just dont rush make it enjoyable for you both

Training your Spaniel will begin during the puppy years; around six months of age. During training you will learn to communicate with your dog and this will enable you to avoid many behavioral problems in the future should they arise. You will be able to teach your dog what you want and don’t want him to do. Dogs are animals and will behave like animals naturally. If you want to teach your dog to stay off the furniture and not to jump up on people training is essential. A dog, if left to its’ own devices will dig up the yard, tear or chew up household items, bark continuously, pee on the furniture, poop in the front room and steal food out of your hand. All of this can be avoided with proper training. (refer the source below for more details)

I had my Beagles Training, and trained at 5 months old.* They have a natural instinct to Hunt, all you need to do is put the time and effort in taking them out often.*

  4. legal doesn't make it right.

NOW. It’s good to start training a dog when they are just pups. We started ours a 6 weeks. I think I answered your other question too.

you need to be at least 35 years old before you can properly start training hunting dogs.
