Try a flea collar, they work very well.
If her majesty angel disagrees with a collar try advantage from Petmeds.com (its over priced in most stores) Put one dot on the back of her neck once as directed!
I would agree with the above user that you should probably try the stuff that goes on the back of the neck. It’s always worked best for me. Flea collars aren’t a terrible idea either – every vet I’ve had says that they don’t work, but I’ve had success with them every now and then. However, I’ve never found a powder that works, and your cat probably won’t be fond of being powdered down either.
to get rid of the fleas on your cat or dog use 7-dust.you can buy it at any gardenshop, and it really kills the fleas without harming the pet.take a old sock and fill it with the 7-dust, and give your cat a good dusting all over.make sure to wash their beds in hot water,and dry them in a dryer.immediately after the bed is dry,apply 7-dust to their bed.this will kill all fleas and futurs infestations.sprinkle 7-dust also in the areas in your house where the cats go.it also helps to sprinle on carpets,leave for about 5 minuets and them vaccum the carpets.fleas hate 7-dust,and it’s also good to put on all plants,especially garden plants to keep bugs off the plants.hope this helps,god bless.
Stay away from commercial flea products as they contain chemical insecticides that can cause liver damage in both you and your pet. Instead use something that is more natural. I like to use Target Spray for Fleas as it is is a safe alternative to insecticides, which can cause liver damage. Its insect repellent action deters cat fleas from making their home on your furry friend.

I’ve found that vet quality topicals work the best. I’ve had some success with flea collars, not the cheap ones mind you, but there is no instant gratification with those, and that sounds like what you’re looking for…instant relief.
I use two things. One I learned from my own vet. It’s a spray, called Adams. Walmart sells it. It’s $9.99 for a 12 oz bottle. Get the water based variety. It takes very little of it but as with anything, you do run the risk of allergic reaction in some animals.
The second thing I use is a powder, and it is expensive, but it’s 100% ALL NATURAL, and I have tested it myself with astonishing results. I put fleas in a plastic cup and sprinkled this powder in the cup…INSTANT DEATH. It’s pretty incredible. It’s called Natural Defense. It’s made by SENTRY. Petsmart sells it online but it’s $10.99 for a 2.5 oz bottle. It smells like peppermint..and consider yourself warned. The smell will knock you down but it is 100% pet and child safe.
It varies. One of us will say one thing works, one of us will say it doesn’t. Case in point….sevindust! The important thing is to make sure that whatever you use, you do your research, watch the ingredients, and always consult a vet if you’re unsure about anything to put on your furbabies.
In all honesty, it will take some experimentation for you to figure out what works best for your household and your pets.
