Remove the ticks with tweezers at the base of the ticks head. Make sure you get it. For fleas, take to a groomer and have a flea bath. Wait three days and apply a flea preventative from the vet. (not from the pet store, not the same)
Um Garlic is definitely bad for dogs….just throwing that out there. Onions and garlic contain the toxic ingredient thiosulphate. Onions are more of a danger.http://www.petalia.com.au/templates/stor…

This is an answer I gave to my son since he has a dog. If you have garlic powder put some in some moist dog food and mix it in real good, and within a week you should notice a difference. It may take a couple of times doing it but I swear by it since it worked for my sons dog. Just give your dog a breath mint when they try to lick you…lol
